Akemi was wonderful and not deterred by the horrendous weather from the typhoon off the coast of Japan. She ensured we were prepared for weather we had not expected, and planned a great day that really suited us. She had lots of fun facts that you would have other wise overlooked and her assistance in our first sushi restaurant made sure we did not look foolish attempting a meal alone! Akemi kept in touch through our trip and genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves and sincerely hoped we had a great experience. The service provided by a volunteer was so much more than we ever experienced and are very grateful for everything she did for us. :The name of the guide is Akemi.

As it is not very common to talk to strangers in Japan, it was nice to get in touch with a local person, open to questions that had come up during the first days and round up my impressions about Tokyo and Japan in general. :The name of the guide is Tetsuro.
