Garden in Kabuki Theatre
Posted on 2015.09.21
My daughter and I had a wonderful day in Tokyo visiting the fish market and the Imperial Palace with the always kind and polite
assistance of Mrs. Hiroko Ota. We also visited the Kabuki Theatre and we had the possibility of learning many interesting distinguishing features of this traditional Japanese Art from her experience.
Thank you again, Hiroko.
You are a wonderful person.

This email is just to inform you about our experience with your guide Mr. Fumihiro Mochimaru. We stayed with Fumi for one day in Tokyo and the experience was really nice and really good. We felt really comfortable with Fumi and we visited places that we would not be able to visit without his help.
The communication with him was really fast and cooperative.
Fumi was a great guide. Congratulations!!
Thanks for you project and wish you a successful future.
Have a nice day,

A Pleasant Day With TFG
I had Michiko Noda on July 30, 2015. It was an easy day because I was tired from climbing to Mt.Fuji earlier. Michiko suggested to take me to public onsen. It was my first time in traditional Japanese public onsen. I was relax after the tired days.

Our guide member, Ms. Yuri Hirai, got some positive feedback from guests from Arizona.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Yuri,
Just a very quick note because we get on the cruise tomorrow and still have much to do tonight. But I did not want to let any more time pass before thanking you again for your time, energy, caring about what we wanted to do and see every moment of our day together. But you gave something much mo...re than all of the above. You put your heart into it, and you allowed us to learn about you and your family. We feel that you are now part of our circle of people dear to us. And certainly if you ever get to Arizona, we will be delighted to take you around and show you the sights.
Thank you, Yuri for a day we will always treasure, and for the hand you extended in friendship.
Please forward this email to the directors of TFG so they will know how effective this program is. They also need to know that we will talk about this experience when we get home and may well interest others in visiting Tokyo.
Hugs to you, Yuri,
Sherry and Marvin

We like to say a very big thank you to our wonderful guide Makiko for her
excellent service. We were only supposed to meet her on our fourth day in Tokyo but she went the extra mile, earnestly and cheerfully I have to add, to greet us on the day we arrived even though she didn't have to, so she could explain to us how to move around the city through the train system. She also accompanied us to the train station to show us how to get our train cards, and offered to liaise with the train staff on how we could purchase the Keio amusement passport tickets! All these on our
first day. We were very impressed with her hospitality.
Leading up to our trip, she also shared many tips on places to visit via email, and genuinely shared in our excitement about our visit. She was an incredible guide, and we had a really great time exploring the city with her. There were things she shared with us that we wouldn't have known or seen if we didn't have a local to bring us around.
TFG is a great initiative for tourists to enjoy Tokyo and interact with
a local. Kudos to all at TFG!(:
Cheers,
Athena and Diana

My sister and I only had a few days to explore Japan, so we wanted to hire a tour guide. We are so glad we found Tokyo Free Guide! Hayashi-san was our tour guide for 2 days. He is so kind and respectful.
We are so glad he was able to show us around Tokyo despite the very cold weather. We had a heavy proposed itinerary, but he was abl...e to accommodate everything we wanted to see and even added a few more of his own suggestions.
He is very knowledgeable about the Japanese Culture, which we appreciated. He went above and beyond what we had expected. He even shared his love for music with us, and suggested the best food and drinks in Japan.
This was an amazing experience for us. We hope to keep in touch, and we hope to be back soon!
Thank you,
Sheena and Diana from Canada

Emily san from Australia sent us this beautiful photo and comment on her guide, Naohmi Sakudado.

One of the busiest days of the year and we wanted to go to the Fish markets and it was raining.
Naohmi managed to get us there and showed us around explaining all different types of seafood. He then took us to the best sushi and then onto Electric town.
It was such a terrific day and Naohmi was such a fine host and guide. This photo is us at a temple where Naohmi taught to children to pray. Thank you Naohmi and Tokyo guides for making our trip to Tokyo so special.

Luisa san, thank you for your comment !!

Hi, Tokyo Free Guide! I just want to provide feedback for one of
your guides, Miki Morimoto. I'm very grateful for Miki. I really had ...
a very wonderful time touring Tokyo with her last February 8th. We were looking forward to see Kamakura but due to the weather that day, we just decided to tour the city. It didn't matter because
we still had a great time. She took me to my first Buddhist temple ceremony and told me about the rituals involved, that's really unforgettable for me.
The place where she brought me to eat was really fantastic, I never enjoyed sushi that much before!
We also toured Meiji shrine, a part of Yoyogi park, Harajuku, Shinjuku area, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and more. She took me to stores which I did go back to in the following days for shopping based on her recommendations.
There was really no problem in communicating with her as she speaks really good English and she will make you feel comfortable, as if you've been friends for years! She's kind and shared not only information about Tokyo but her personal wisdom as well. I got so much inspiration from her stories. Truly, she is one great, wonderful woman. She even sent me suggestions for the places to visit in Kyoto.
It was really a very great day and I can't thank her enough for that. She also made sure I was on the right train going back to where I was staying, thanks so much for everything Miki-san!
